This is the question I have been asking to myself for the last couple of months. One may argue that if Facebook is as big as Google. My answer to that is “not yet” but I strongly believe there is a huge opportunity for Facebook.
Anyways, what I am really interested in is a rather small company, which has a huge potential to grow like Google did. Obviously in these days it may not be logical to think that you search about a trend, find a company, see the opportunity, join the team and be one of the first people in that company. Once you find “the company”, it would be filled with lots of people like you and you would be looking for another “one”.
Here is the answer of that question from TrendWatching: “Believe us, if we knew, we’d be working on it right now.” Absolutely! Why won’t they!? I’d too…
Their sugestion is simple: “create the Next Big Thing yourself.” I totally agree with this. However, simply agreeing with an idea does not make it easy to happen, right? You have to think smart, work hard and do it ASAP! The “next big thing” will not stay there until you find it!
I don’t know what will be the next Google yet, but I have a few thoughts on what could be “the next Google’s area of interest”. I’ll post about this soon… :)
